The WiiM CI MOD A80 is a compact, rack‑mountable streaming amplifier designed for custom audio installations. Combining modern streaming convenience with powerful stereo amplification, the A80 is perfect for driving passive in-ceiling and in-wall speakers in multi-room audio systems. It pairs a high‑quality 32‑bit ESS Sabre DAC with an efficient Class‑D amplifier to deliver 60 W per channel into 8 Ω (120 W into 4 Ω). The unit supports Wi‑Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 for wireless streaming, HDMI ARC, optical, RCA and USB inputs, plus subwoofer output for flexible connectivity. The A80 is compatible with popular streaming protocols/services including Chromecast Audio, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and DLNA, and supports Hi‑Res audio up to 24‑bit/192 kHz. Wharfedale's WCM-65 in-ceiling speakers offer great performance at a fantastic price. The Wharfedale Custom Installation range includes two in-ceiling mounted models - the Wharfedale WCM-65 (6.5-inch driver) and the Wharfedale WCM-80 (8-inch driver).

With a 6.5-inch bass driver (165mm), a cut-out diameter of 201mm, and a mounting depth of just 97mm, the WCM-65 is the ideal ceiling speaker for small and medium sized rooms. Each speaker demonstrates Wharfedale’s great build quality along with a musically thrilling sound. The trimless exterior design features an edge-to-edge white magnetic micro-perforated grille for a seamless blend between the ceiling and the speaker.

Externally the speakers are elegant and discreet, but advanced drivers and crossover networks are housed within. The rigid polypropylene bass driver has an ultra-durable, high-excursion rubber surround that guarantees stability under high pressure for maximum bass output. And a titanium dome tweeter with a highly efficient neodymium motor system delivers a wide frequency response with good dispersion for scintillating high frequency performance. The tweeter assembly can also be pivoted to further enhance imaging or compensate for off-axis positioning.
