KEF’s patented ’sit anywhere’ Uni-Q driver array places the tweeter in the acoustic centre of the bass/midrange cone. This allows both woofer and tweeter to act as a single, focused source of sound that is dispersed widely and evenly throughout the room. The practical benefit is that great sound can be experienced from anywhere in the listening environment removing the ‘sweet spot’ effect.

KEF’s search for the definitive discreet Ci speaker has culminated in the new Ultra Thin Bezel designs, offering the slimmest possible visible rim around the speaker.

- UTB™ Ultra Thin Bezel
- 160mm Uni-Q driver array
- 19mm Aluminium dome tweeter and ‘tangerine’ waveguide
- Gold plated spring loaded binding posts

Great speakers - just make sure you know what you want

These sound great. Loads of power, treble and mid is very clear, maybe even a little *too* bright for me. I've heard news things on old tunes already (with a new Sonos Amp backing them)

Bass, though, will depend on too many things (volume in cavity, room layout) so if you want decent bass you will of course need a sub (or even two!). At which point maybe the 130s would be fine (and easier to fit), so make sure you know what you want.

Also: make sure you know about all your joists! Cutting the hole is the easy bit... Doing it first time is the art form.
