JBL 8-Zone Distributed Audio System Package

This 8-Zone (16-channel) amplifier and speaker package consists of a JBL DA1650 distribution amplifier and 16x JBL Stage 260C in-ceiling speakers.

This package provides stereo audio for up to 8 separate zones. Depending on the requirements, a single audio source can be distributed to all speakers simultaneously, or each stereo pair can have its own source for independent multiroom audio applications.

When paired with audio sources like the Sonos Port music streamer, this packages provides a flexible and cost effective audio solution for multiple speakers. Especially for commercial applications and background music systems in large spaces such as restaurants, bars and shops.

JBL DA1650 Distribution Amplifier

Engineered to work with any JBL architectural loudspeaker to deliver a fantastic high-resolution audio experience throughout the home, the DA1650 provides 8 zones of audio in a compact 1U design, providing maximum performance while taking up minimal rack space. Further configurability is supported with bridging of its Class D stereo channels into even more powerful mono outputs when needed. Each zone can have an independent source or share an audio source across all zones using the global audio input. Expand zones sharing an audio source across multiple amplifiers using the global audio output.

JBL Stage 260C In-Ceiling Speakers

The Stage 260C has a 6.5" (165mm) Polycellulose cone woofer and 1" (25mm) Aluminium dome tweeter with an acoustic lens waveguide. A visually discrete zero bezel grille and easy installation allow these speakers to be heard and not seen. Elements including baffles with acoustic smoothing and acoustic lens tweeters have been incorporated into the design to ensure that the sound is clear and accurate.
